As a pet owner with a dog that has allergies I know what it is like to try and figure out what to feed them. You have to get out there and start looking for the best dog food for allergies, but where do you start. Quite often people go to the vet to get their opinion and in my experience you don’t always get the best answer. It’s kind of like going to the doctor to figure out what the best vitamins are. The problem is they don’t know, you need a nutritionist and to find one of those for dogs can be a little tough.

What I found to be the best approach is to try and figure out what the allergy is and then eliminate that from the diet. Many times you’ll find it is as simple as an additive the manufacturer used as filler which can be quite easy to eliminate.
